“It was a Festival of full-spectrum conviction, overflowing with compelling
emotions that reflect the real conundrums pressing in upon our emerging global
society with accelerating force. In this sense this now-annual Festival is a
natural outgrowth of a growing, terrestrial upheaval that is going to leave
no part of man’s collective being untouched.”

Poverty of Spirit

Short Film by Michael Hamermaster.
“In echo of the original zeitgeist series, comes a film that connects the powerful insights of MLK, Ram Dass, and Buckminster Fuller to the growing state of disparity in contrast to the incredible feasibility of a abundant sustainable future. This film seeks to illuminate these contrasts and the static systems that undermine the future of humanity, revealing a violent inefficiency that holds the planet and nearly all of its inhabitants at hostage. A poverty exists that stifles the world’s potential, clouding the realization of what humanity can already be, A poverty of the spirit.”
