Recognized as the largest grassroots social movement in the world with chapters in over 60 countries, The Zeitgeist Movement announces its 8th annual ‘Zeitgeist Day’ global awareness campaign. The main event was held in Athens, Greece at the Danaos Theater on March 26th, 2016.
The daylong 2016 symposium addressed some of the most pressing social issues of the time, with key lectures from TZM founder Peter Joseph, journalist Abby Martin, Georgios Papanikolaou of the P2P Foundation, Peter Gruber of Copiosis, and more. Topics included the role of technology, public health science, sustainability, universal basic income, and the structural incapacity of market capitalism to address current problems.
